How To Choose The Best Cellulite Treatment? 5.00/5 (100.00%) 1 vote

Cellulite is a common problem today, which affects not only women but men as well. Many people are searching for the best ways to treat this issue, as nobody wants to have ugly bumps and lumps on their body. There are many different treatment methods and a lot of products, which can help against cellulite. However, it can be very time consuming and confusing if you decide to search for all of them. Testing different treatments can also be very expensive, so you have to narrow down your options. You need to go for those treatments that have shown best effects for many people.

Cosmetic surgery

Cosmetic surgery is a popular and common method for solving the cellulite problems. Two treatments that are widely used by some people involve liposuction and mesotherapy. By liposuction treatment, your body fat is sucked out by a machine that has parts connected to your body. This treatment can be very expensive, and it also requires few days for healing. Mesotherapy involves injecting medication at places where you have cellulite so that these medications can melt cellulite down. Liposuction and mesotherapy usually provide instant results, but both methods are quite expensive.

Natural cellulite treatments

Some people choose natural cellulite treatments, like eating healthy and maintaining an active lifestyle. The fact is that having cellulite can be very frustrating and can affect people`s confidence and self-esteem. Most people that have cellulite avoid wearing certain clothes to prevent embarrassment and unpleasant feeling.  However, having in mind that this is a common problem – there is nothing to be ashamed of, as there are many good treatments available.

One problem with cellulite treatments is that they usually target specific areas. No product or treatment can completely remove all cellulite. Usually, best cellulite treatments involve a combination of few different treatments that eliminate cellulite in different places. The best treatment for removing cellulite includes changing eating habits, getting regular exercise, and using cellulite creams. All those things contribute towards removal of cellulite.

Exercising helps in reducing body fat in the area that is affected by cellulite. Physical workout also helps in toning your body. Despite all the good benefits it brings, there are still many people that are not aware that exercise can reduce their cellulite problem. The key is to choose exercises that will target the specific area where there is cellulite. Focus on exercises for the cardiovascular system, because these exercises will help in burning fats and tone your cellulite area.

Following a healthy diet is another important thing in the battle against cellulite. Cellulite often appears as a result of building up of toxins and excess fat in the body. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is eliminate consuming products with saturated fats. Avoid eating processed foods, consume more fruits and vegetables, and drink plenty of water.

Besides exercising and eating healthy, cellulite creams like Revitol Cellulite Solution, also play a great role in removing cellulite. Cellulite creams help in repairing the skin from all the damage that has been caused by the cellulite. Cellulite damages the structure of skin cells and breaks the connective tissues. That is when your skin loses its elasticity, and that leads to the appearance of cellulite.

The best and most affordable cellulite treatment is using the anti-cellulite creams. Creams are very easy to use, affordable, and also very efficient in removing cellulite. There are many creams available out there, so the main question remains, which anti-cellulite cream is most effective in the battle against this problem. The answer to this question is to look for creams that have good natural ingredients. Make sure you use the cream that contains Algae extracts, retinol A, caffeine, as well as L-Carnitine. All these elements have proved to be very effective in eliminating cellulite. Creams help you get smoother, tighter, and firmer skin.

These were the best cellulite treatments you can use to eliminate the problem. However, what is best for one person may not be suitable for another, so you have to choose what is best based on your specific skin type. Today, there are cellulite creams for all types of skin, so choose accordingly, change your lifestyle, and soon enough you will reach desired results.

Top Cellulite Treatments of 2012

Cellulite, even the word is ugly, isn’t it?  Did you know that 95% of people battle cellulite?  Yes, even celebrities have to find a way to contend with their cellulite.  Just what is it?  Its definition is as ugly as its name; cellulite is the fatty deposits that live under our skin.  Why some of us our lucky enough to get cellulite can be due to weight gain, hormone changes, poor circulation or the dreaded word, genetics.  While we don’t have the luxury of having photo touch ups like the celebrities do, there are some hot new spa treatments that can help reduce your cellulite and give you the body image you desire!

A non-surgical and non-invasive spa treatment, Velashape has three components that when combined, give you gorgeous body contour with gorgeous tightened skin that is smooth to the touch.  After you have Velashape done, you will be able to love your body once again.  Just what are these three magical components that make up Velashape?  Radiofrequency energy, infrared light energy and mechanical vacuum massage are all used in this FDA approved device to help you rid your body of cellulite. Just how it all works is very simple.  Velashape is a painless procedure done in a spa that feels similar to a deeper massage, similar to those that athletes get.  After massaging your skin with the mechanical vacuum, you’ll feel the heat from the radiofrequency energy and infrared light energy as they begin to cause the fat cells beneath your skin to begin to shrink.  The heat is what causes the fat cells to shrink while the vacuum is what makes your skin smooth.  Because it takes time for the fat cells to completely shrink, you’ll see minor results immediately with significant results being visible within several weeks.

BIOSLIMMING is one of the hottest cellulite treatments in Beverly Hills right now.  Made from natural ingredients such as plant extracts, algae, essential oils, thermo agents and high concentrations of caffeine, BIOSLIMMING is one of the most effective and non-invasive spa treatments that eliminates cellulite.  The products that these ingredients make up are simply massaged into the skin of your problem areas. They are applied in a certain order so that they will create a reaction that turns into Lipolysis or burning the fat below your skin.  As an added benefit, toxins are also released from your body naturally from this process. BIOSLIMMING is a two stage process.  The first stage involves massaging the Detox Base, Ultra Slim Gel and Ultra Slim Cream into your skin and covering it with a bio-film.  After it is applied, you are covered with bio-film that does its job for the next 40 minutes.  The second stage consists of rubbing Ultra Slim Effect onto your skin followed by another 10 minutes of relaxation.  Clinical trials of BIOSLIMMING show that women have dramatic results within two weeks of treatment.  It is recommended that 4 to 6 consecutive treatments take place for optimum results.

The Top 5 Myths About Cellulite and the Top 5 Cellulite Treatments

by Melissa, Lead Cellulite Investigator

For those of you who are new to The Cellulite Investigation, here is a summary of the most important information we’ve uncovered so far.

Top 5 Myths About Cellulite

Myth #1:  Cellulite is an inevitable part of the aging process.  It’s genetic and untreatable.

Cellulite is a modern condition.  It was not nearly as prevalent in previous generations.

Dr. Weston Price, Dr. Lionel Bissoon, and others have documented the nonexistence of cellulite and varicose veins in non-industrialized societies.  Women in these cultures are shocked when they see photographs of cellulite.  They’ve never seen anything like it.

(You can read Dr. Bissoon’s comments about this in a CI post from last April.)

Myth #2:  Cellulite is harmless.  It’s purely a cosmetic concern.

I didn’t notice it at first, but cellulite hurts.  I’m not the only woman to realize this.  Check out the comments section on Request for Information: Does Cellulite Hurt?

Myth #3:  Cellulite is caused by a poor diet.

There are many different causes of cellulite.  Diet can be (and often is) a major contributor but anything that contributes to lymphatic congestion could be the culprit.  For some women, cellulite is caused by diet but for other women it could be caused by exposure to chemicals or other substances that are not properly metabolized and end up in the lymph.

Myth #4:  Rigorous cardio exercise will “burn off” cellulite.

In our interview with Dr. Bruno Chikly, he describes cellulite as the substance that will not dissolve following an extreme fast.  Studies show that cellulite often appears worse when women lose weight.  Cardiovascular exercise will burn calories but it will not burn cellulite.

Myth #5:  A low-fat, high-fiber diet is best for reducing cellulite.

The body needs fat-soluble nutrients and essential fatty acids to repair damaged fatty tissue.  A high fiber diet makes it difficult to cultivate digestive flora, the healthy bacteria that live in our digestive system and help us breakdown food.  Traditional fermented foods, rich in enzymes and probiotics, are a more natural way to maintain robust digestive health.

Top 5 Treatments for Cellulite

Treatment #1:  Effective skin care.

Effective skin care will reduce the load on the lymphatic system by enhancing the skin’s function as a secondary detox pathway.  Dry skin brushing and the ancient practice of oil bathing are simple yet potent anti cellulite treatments.

Treatment #2: Bikram yoga.

Lymph circulates as a function of movement combined with breath.  Some experts claim the eastern movement traditions, such as yoga and tai chi, were specifically designed to increase lymphatic flow.  Bikram yoga is particularly effective at targeting cellulite because the heated room increases detox through the skin.

(We have three cellulite success stories so far involving bikram yoga alone!)

Treatment #3: A diet rich in healthy saturated fats.

Saturated fat is the best source of fat-soluble nutrients (vitamins A, D, E, and K) and essential fatty acids (EFA’s) needed to repair damaged fatty tissue.

Coconut oil is a good source to start with because it contains medium chain fatty acids that are easier to digest.  Other sources of healthy fats are cheese, yogurt, butter, and meat from ruminants that graze on pasture (not factory farms).  Even beef tallow and lard are healthy sources of EFA’s.  The fats to avoid are trans fats, like those found in commercial vegetable oils.

(Don’t miss all our cellulite success stories from women who bravely added these fats to their diet.)

Treatment #4:  Homemade bone broths.

As Dr. Howard Murad explains in The Cellulite Solution, to repair cellulite the body needs ample amounts of glucosamine and other micronutrients that serve as the building blocks for connective tissue.  Dr. Murad suggests supplements but traditional diets included slow-simmered bone broths as their primary source of glucosamine.  Chicken soup heals more than the soul!

*For added anti cellulite properties, try the beef soup from Vietnam called pho.  Served in the traditional manner, it contains beef balls, tendon, tripe, and other nutrient-dense parts.  Beef testicles are the most dense source of hyaluronidase, an enzyme known to break up glucosaminoglycans trapped in cellulite-laden fat cells.

Treatment #5: Eliminate the source (aka, your kryptonite).

If you don’t eliminate the source of the lymphatic congestion, you will not be able to prevent future cellulite from developing.  Perhaps your cellulite is caused by one of the usual suspects, such as sugar or trans fats.  But if it is something more abstruse (like fluoride!), you will have to listen to your body more closely than ever before to figure out what substances to avoid.  Every bump, every rash, every ache has a cause.  It’s your job as a cellulite investigator to chase down each of these leads.

As always, The Cellulite Investigation is here to help you along the way.  Let me know in the comments section or via email if you have any questions, suggestions, or stories to share.  You know I love talking cellulite with my fellow cellulite sleuths!
