How Does Exilis Elite™ Work?

Exilis Elite™ can help sculpt and reduce fat that is on top of the muscle. With precise temperature control, the high-frequency energy triggers the fat cells to release their contents. Your body’s natural metabolic system takes over and flushes out the excreted fat. The fat layer reduces in size as the volume of the individual fat cells decreases.

Is Exilis Elite™ Safe?

Yes, Exilis Elite™ is a state-of-the-art medical device. You are always under the care of a physician, as well as a trained professional who performs the treatment.

How Many Exilis Elite™ Treatments are Needed to See Results?

In general, between four and six treatments are needed. The treatments are scheduled every seven to 14 days.

How Long Does the Exilis Elite™ Treatment Take?

Each session can take up to one hour for each area being treated.

When Will I See Results from Exilis Elite™? How Long Will They Last?

You may see immediate results after your treatment session, but much of the clinical improvement is evident three months after your last treatment. Because your skin continues to age, results last up to 12 to 18 months. You can then maintain the improvement with an additional anti-aging or skin tightening procedure.

Is There Any Downtime or Side Effects from Exilis Elite™?

Exilis Elite™ is noninvasive and uses no anesthetics, so there is no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after your session. Side effects are generally minor and may include redness and mild swelling that usually fades within a couple hours.

Are There Pre- or Post-Treatment Considerations?

There is no special preparation before an Exilis Elite™ treatment. We recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after each session to enhance the treatment’s comfort and effectiveness. We also encourage light physical activity after each treatment to help increase lymphatic drainage (the flushing of fat from the body). You may continue all medications, supplements, and vitamins while undergoing Exilis Elite™ treatments.

How Much Does Cellulite Treatment with Exilis Elite™ Cost in Boston?

The cost for cellulite treatment via Exilis Elite™ is determined by Dr. Sandhu during your consultation, and every treatment is individualized. Neem Medical Spa accepts cash, bank checks, and all major credit cards including Visa®,  MasterCard®,  American Express®, and Discover®, as well as financing via CareCredit®.

Best Cellulite Reduction Treatments NJ | Cellulite Removal

Men very rarely develop cellulite and typically can reduce cellulite through weight-loss, unlike women.

Cellulite forms due to sex-related (male/female) differences in the skin and its underlying tissues.1 It is unclear as to what causes cellulite to form, but studies show that 85-90% of women experience cellulite as they age. Effective treatments for cellulite acknowledge these structural differences and seek to treat these causes of cellulite directly.

What Causes Cellulite

Cellulite forms due to the following underlying structural changes in the skin:

  • Fibers (septae) form that tether the skin to fascia below, creating deep dimples
  • Fat cells trapped within the skin collect into large bulges within the skin’s lower layers
  • Skin loses elasticity and thickness, making the bulges and dimples appear worse and creating an appearance that is wavy and bumpy like an orange peel

Why You Have Cellulite

For women, cellulite forms due to structural differences in the skin. All skin has fibrous bands that tether it to the fascia and tissues below. In men, these tethers form a diagonal mesh. In women, they form perpendicular to the top of the skin. Women also tend to lose significant amounts of collagen support within the skin as they age, making cellulite a problem that increases with age.

Cellulite Removal Treatment

What is Cellulite?

Millions of people around the world deal with the skin condition known as cellulite. If you are unfamiliar, cellulite is the bumpy, unattractive skin that is commonly seen in the thighs, buttocks, and hips. It is a structural issue within the skin that occurs when pockets of fat cells are entrapped by unnecessary connective tissue bands. These pockets of fat then bulge out of the skin, creating that bumpy, uneven appearance. This condition is most common in women and is often influenced by factors such as: aging, genetics, and poor blood circulation. This condition can lower self-esteem due to the presence grotesque looking skin. Thanks to revolutionary treatments like Venus Freeze, cellulite does not have to plague your skin for life.

Venus FreezeTM Treatment for Cellulite Reduction

Venus Freeze is a non-invasive treatment that uses radio frequency and magnetic pulses to stimulate collagen production and restore healthy looking skin. The procedure is FDA approved and viewed as a quick and painless way to treat cellulite. It is also used for circumferential reduction and skin tightening.

How Does the Procedure Work?

On treatment day, a lotion will be applied to the area of the skin being targeted. Venus Freeze applicator will then smoothly be moved over the surface of your skin. The applicator causes a slight heating sensation and is often described as a hot-stone massage. Within the applicator is advanced technology that uses both magnetic pulses (MP)2, as well as radio frequency energy to help reduce cellulite. As the applicator is moved over the skin, a magnetic field is generated from the (MP)2 component to release growth factors that lead to the development of new blood vessels and fibroblasts. While this occurs, RF energy penetrates deep within the skin leading to increased collagen content and elastin synthesis, as well as triggering enzyme mediated lipolysis. As all of this occurs, the skins structure is reformed and the overlying skin becomes smoother and more attractive.

What Happens After the Treatment?

After 15-40 minutes of quick and easy Venus Freeze treatment, patients are free to return to normal activities right away. While patients may experience slight warmness and redness of the skin, there is no downtime nor any harmful side effects. Results may not be visible immediately and often do not show until three treatment sessions have been performed. In order to achieve optimal results, a series of 6-10 treatment sessions within 5-7 day intervals are typically recommended.
